Scottish Old Thyme and Social Dance Group (not continuing at present time)

There is a fun loving group of Scottish old thyme dancers who use the RFT Hall in Hightael every Thursday night between October and March. Dancing consists from slow waltz’s through to foxtrots and quicksteps, also a few jigs and reels. Good music and a relaxed atmosphere is the key word, and although the dances are varied it is based on having a good time.

Non dancers are always welcome and will be shown how to dance the various steps and patterns as well as anyone who just enjoys dancing. Music is provided by C.D’s from top Scottish bands.

Dancing starts at 7.30pm and lasts around two hours.
