THE COFFEE STOP, HIGHTAE

This is a monthly event, held in the Royal Four Towns’ Hall on the last Friday of the month from 10 am to 12 noon. We offer hot drinks and home baking, a warm welcome with lots of chat and also a free lending library.

It was originally set-up by our then Minister, Rev Sandy Stoddart, in conjunction with the Richmond Fellowship, as an outreach for folk who might have felt socially isolated. After the Richmond Fellowship’s withdrawal due to funding cuts, it was continued by volunteers from the congregations of Dalton, Hightae and St Mungo churches (now Dalton & Hightae Church and St Mungo). The home baking is all donated and whatever surplus of funds we have at the end of the year is donated to a charity which the volunteers decide upon.

WE HOPE YOU WILL FEEL TEMPTED TO COME ALONG AND SEE WHAT IS ON OFFER
